Purpose

What is the purpose of life? I've been struggling with this question lately.

I guess the simple answer is : 'Life is what you make it'

Well my grandfather, may he Rest In Peace, would always say to me you have to do the best you can for yourself. He was a very smart guy in a lot of ways but when he was young he had a problem with stuttering. I had a special relationship with him. He was my grandfather from my Mom’s side of the family. I’ve had issues getting along with my Dad, but my Grandpa Ted was most of the time very sweet and kind towards me. And he was smart. I was told he won a spelling bee when he was in high school and he won a dictionary. And he liked to watch Jeopardy. Too bad he couldn’t have won some money besides that dictionary!!!

Seriously don’t study space then. I don’t think there is a “purpose “ in the grand scheme but you have a purpose to take care of yourself and those around you. Maybe that includes strangers, maybe it is something you create. It’s all good.

Finding it out… try different things and be curious. There is a tiny tiny percentage that know their purpose early. Most of us have to look for it or make it.

When given such a gift, I don’t question it. I just accept it, be thankful for it and make the most of it.
