I took my first box of stuff from kiddos room to organize and get rid of stuff as I’m trying to redo the room so it’s a nice spot for them and not just a place to put stuff in. One box is a start.
It felt good to put my kiddos’ blankets back on them since I wake up early and they are still asleep
Going outside and grounding myself with bare feet on the grass.
Mushroom coffee
Got a close up shot of Apple the groundhog

So cool 😎!!! Yes I love the changing seasons I can’t wait for Winter so I can feel it’s ok to isolate sometimes and not as many people to bump into when I go out. I love your pic ❤️
Feeling good for me is having quiet time when I wake up. Time to slowly start the day with no blaring television or distractions. It's brushing Oliver with one hand as I pet him with the other.
My first cup of morning coffee. Listening as it brews and taking in the smell.
Connecting here with people who understand and are kind. Offering information and sharing what helps them.
It's the quiet time I have at the end of the day to unwind before I crawl under my favorite blanket and try to fall asleep.
Being seen. Being heard. Being myself with all my flaws and doing so without being judged.
HUGS my friend. Take care of yourself and thank you for reminding me throughout the day to be grateful.
As i was reading your post i think i was feeling the moment with the detailed description, feet on the grass, smelling the coffee ect, it was just relaxing to read somehow 🙈
Sorry if i offended you as i definitely didn't intend to 🙂🏴
I'm starting a new job with a bunch of old friends in what I think will be a lower stress environment than where I've been. If nothing else, it's been so nice having old colleagues reach out to welcome me back as my slack and email accounts come online. I feel like I'm coming home.
It's also a chance to grow. I'll be a manager for the first time in my life, and I want to treat it like being a dad: looking out for my people, willing to be stern, but always for their own good and for the good of our larger family. I hope I'm up for it.
