Such a test of strength tonight. I protect her despite her abuse. I am the perfect caregiver and granddaughter to her mother. And because she screws up I'm 35yrs old and need to remember I need to be humbled and that means no air conditioning tonight despite my paying the bill

My air conditioning fan went out 6 months ago but it was cold and I didn't need the fan so I procrastinated. Now that it's hot it became a pain. I tried to bring a cleaning crew in to clean my place enough to get a repairman in and they called me a hoarder. I'm seriously not but the apartment had almost looked like it in some rooms.

So I've been working on my apartment and all the trash is out. It's had a once-over; by me. And now I'm to packing up stuff for storage and I've donated about 4 trips to the community warehouse.

The way I deal without air in 90+ degree heat is as follows:

1] Get a box fan and an oscillating fan.

2] Face the fans at each other on opposite sides of the room. The oscillating fan behind you. The box fan in front.

3] Buy a water cooled mini cooler. I use one called an Artic Fox. There are several models. Not recommending one. It's just the only one I could find for sale in my area. I got it at Home Despots [Actually Home Depot; just my personal nickname for the place. Feel free to spread it.].

4] Place the cooler behind the box fan.

5] The 2 fans in opposition create an air swirl around you of cool air. Couldn't sleep without it.
