Lexapro vs Prozac

Just wondering what to do. I’ve been on 10mg of Lexapro for about 5 yrs ,as well as Xanax.

I’ve gained a lot of weight since I’ve been on Lexapro and the past few months I’m not excited about anything, no motivation to do much of anything. Other than things I have to do. My psychiatrist wants to put me on 10 mg of Prozac. He’s telling me I’d have more energy and no weight gain. Don’t know if this is true, and deathly afraid of taking something I haven’t taken before. It took me 10 years to finally swallow my first Lexapro pill. I had no choice, I kept going to the hospital. I was really bad!!!!! Constant panic attacks and extreme anxiety. I couldn’t even drive anywhere myself!! Couldn’t function at all. I had no quality of life. Pacing night and day. No sleep. Can anyone out there who has taken Prozac in the past or is currently on Prozac give me any information or advice ? It would be much appreciated!!!
