Is something wrong with me
I don’t think anything is wrong with you. Stress and stuff like that can cause you to push people away especially if you’re going through a lot of things at the moment. I know I’ve pushed a lot of people away while I’m going through whatever I am right now
Dapplesauce, all that means is the jobs were not for you. Don't take it personally. Looking for a job is a job in itself. It may take awhile but keep going. There is nothing wrong with you.
Is something wrong with you?
You described having mood swings, lots of stress, depression over not passing job interviews, and pushing people away.
Are those things bad for you? Then I think they're hurting you.
Deciding whether or not emotional suffering is an "illness" (something wrong with you) doesn't move things along.
Recognize if they upset you, and decide if you can make improvements to ease the hurt.
I would find a good counselor or job coach who could do mock interviews with you. Someone who can build up your confidence - and give you practice. I usually feel better when I have practiced my interviewing skills. Also - pray for your job interviews - that you would be relaxed and confident. Perhaps a pastor at a nearby church would pray with you on that. Prayers for a good job to come your way!
