I've been there Bill. You pretty much summed up my past 5 years, but mostly last year. (cuz I too had serious feelings of giving up last year)

Now.. I am watching one of my parents dying slowly right in front of me, (too many botched surgeries that are making things worse, and one more scheduled tomorrow) and it's taking a "different" toll on me.

Like.. IDK.. It makes me upset, because "some" (there's a whole lot of other things) of what I am currently going through could have been avoided. (too long of a story)

I've had too many moments of anxiety and worry, (along with depression too) over these past 5 years, but now I'm struggling with the cloud of depression pretty hard.

*sigh*

Let's keep this thread open for anybody that wants to respond, but if you don't mind, I want to talk to you for a bit in PM too. If that's cool with you.

Bill my heart goes out to your! I have been going through a very dark depression since last October so I know some what how the feeling of will I ever be happy again and enjoy life and find joy again . Maybe it’s time to find a new medication I am still searching for one that even helps a little and I’m not saying that’s the answer but sometimes it’s a start . I hope also you have a good therapist if not please look for someone it really does help in the long run . And if your really suicidal please call the hotline none of us what anything bad to happen to you we just want the best and be here to help support you in any way we can ! ❤️🙏

You're right, HU may take down this post, and if you keep posting about wanting to kill yourself the may ban you. It's their forum, and their rules say they're protecting the sensitive members who can't just read a different page. I'm sorry, but the world works how it does, not how we'd wish it would.

There are sites where you can post how you're feeling and not worry about administrators telling you "no-no". I'll see if I can't find one for you now.
