How terrible. I feel so bad for you. Of course you’re upset. I can see wanting to be strong in front of your little boys but your partner should be able to see your pain. It’s a painful time.

You’re going to need all the support you can get during this time. My prayers are with all of you. Keep posting. You’re not alone.

For goodness sake they need to know how you are feeling especially your partner so they can support you! You should not isolate yourself and make a difficult time harder on yourself. Right now you are in shock give yourself time. You will find ways to make the remaining time with her meaningful for all of you.

Showing your feelings will allow them to show theirs. Don’t bottle it all up, it is okay to be upset. By opening up to your partner they may be able to give you the support you need during this time. (((((((Hugs))))))

hi sorry to hear about your dearest mum.be open an honest with your feelings your family will understand and be supportive.they should know your pain because if they don`t it`s harder for them to support you properly.

May I please ask if your Mum has received any surgery, or any form of treatment? Too many people/patients are given a "timeframe" but medical intervention/treatments now are more advanced.💜

She’s not a candidate for treatment .. chemo would only mean literally couple weeks longer

Then spend as much time with your Mum as you can. Ask her questions. Listen to the stories of her lifetime. Write them down. Take it all in and remember it. Tell her how proud of her you are, and how grateful you have always been to be her child. Take selfies with her. Hold her hand gently and often. Play her favorite music. Dance, sing, and laugh with her. You will not forget these special moments. You will bring her great peace, love, and happiness. You will remain on my mind and in my prayers. 💜Alison

Have you been referred to the McMillan nurses? They specialise in supporting patients and their families through End of Life Care.

They really can ease the burden, help with hospices, etc, getting aids to help with the everyday needs of your Mum.

Might be time to chat with your GP about it, especially if all the burden is likely to fall to you.

I'm really sorry this is happening to you

Cheers, Midori
