Hi. I don’t really know what I have… I’ve never taken this into my own hands so I’m really nervous about it. I think I have some form of anxiety and it’s taken me almost 10 years to figure that much out. I’ve been told that I’m just being dramatic for too long and now I feel conditioned to tell myself I’m not allowed to have anxiety. I just can’t stop the flow of the thoughts anymore.

Try reaching out to a professional, find a therapist and take it from there. Wish you well!!!!!! Try zocdoc, it will show you all the therapists in your area + they have reviews.

If you try to re train the thoughts it would help. If you start thinking about what brings the "dark place" then try to think of something different. If it's nothing but shopping for something of even baking a cake. Think about all the things you will need to do to make that cake. Or something that makes you comfortable doing. Just don't give in to it. Talk to your doctor to get suggestions. I have visited the "dark place" many times but haven't lately. Anytime you need to reach out. I'm hear and will listen.
