Leo can be a little harsh. But then again, I can be too. Took me a while to get accustomed to his "flavor". He has a great deal of good material, it can however, be a difficult 'swallow' for some i'm sure as it was for me from time to time. he comes off slightly arrogant, while speaking about things like "transcending ego". A paradox, but, that in itself, is a metaphor. I interject that the "ego" cannot be transcended completely and that suggesting to one's self that the "ego" can be "killed" or by entertaining concepts like "ego death" one is actually committing self harm. The ego is our "identity". We need our "ego". The point is to "tame" it, to bring it "under our own control". This video, I've watched over 100 times. It got me through a dark lonely period. Seems that MUCH of my loneliness was brought about by my feelings of "not fitting in", I wanted to believe that there were at least "a couple" of people out there who I could really connect with on those "deeper" levels. Turned out I CAN connect with ANYONE on those deeper levels, but ONLY after FIRST, CONNECTING WITH MYSELF >>FIRST & FOREMOST<<, all the way to the CORE> this video helped me do just that. Solitude is nothing to fear. But i understand how scary it can be, in this day and age where we feel lost without some kind of outside stimulation, some type of external validation or even a "support network". My "support network" let me down. And maybe I let them down too by not conforming to their idea of how THEY thought I SHOULD B.E. But there's *ONE who I don't have to "conform" for, who i don't have to "change myself" to be "Accepted By", and that's My.Self. Get to Know Your.Self.Better.
