My question is have any of yours mental health took a deep dive after having Covid? I had covid back in February and haven’t felt 100% ever since and my mental health has taken a great dive I did go through some other stressors after Covid like leaving my job. But over all I just don’t feel 100% and I really took a deep dive mentally everything relapsed my agoraphobia my social anxiety my depression my health anxiety one day at a time though they put me on a high dose vitamin D once a week because my levels were low they think that has some to do with how I’m feeling. They also tried me on Effexor and not for me my body hates all these meds they make me really dizzy and not like a sinus dizziness.

I have a friend who struggles with anxiety and depression and she had a really hard time with both after having Covid last summer. She’s better now and back to her normal struggle with them. (She had an abusive childhood and then twenty years in an abusive marriage and has not found a therapist who knows how to help her heal from them.) Hope you find things that will help soon :)

Many suffer physical and mental issues for various reasons after Covid. I have Long Covid, which is a long term result of the initial Covid. I'll never be the same, I am different. Every day is a different series of issues to varying degrees. And it's emotionally draining, exhausting, and I'm sick and tired of being sick, and tired. So yes, I do believe it's very possible to have mental issues enhanced after Covid. They have now found that in many brain scans of Long Covid cases the brain is damaged, and accelerated Alzheimer onset is one of the results, hence the brain fog. Organ transplants, and symptoms of a variety of issues in most of us. But... it's just one more obstacle in life... another thing to accept, and live with.
