Does anyone with anxiety feel the need to void often?

I've been treated for overactive bladder for more than a year now but to no avail.

It's a weird sensation that has left me unable to be around people or go out carefree, I wonder if it's a symptom of anxiety.

I wish I could get better hold of my symptoms,it is ruining my life.

Welcome A little life :)To your question regarding anxiety and need to void alot, it can be possible

however you need to have your physician address this matter. Anything that

disrupts out way of life, needs to be looked into.. Medical or Emotional issues.

I have anxiety and that can sometimes be a symptom but I'm on buspirone now for anxiety and seeing a therapist which has helped a lot. Check with your physician as I was told to void on a regular basis due to aging of the bladder so you might be at that stage of life where you just need to go more often. I don't let it stop me from going places but I sure know where all the bathrooms are! Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear that, I truly understand how it feels and I'm glad to hear your positive approach.I also tried my best until I no longer could. I'm 22.
