Anyone suffering from Anxiety or other debilitating disorders use Marijuana or CBD to help with symptoms and it help them cope? I've tried but some of the strains seemed to heighten my Anxiety and send me into full blown Panic Attacks.. (Like dying of heart attack kinda symptoms) or losing control type reactions) So sense my partners recent Diagnosis I havent touched CBD or THC but I hear others have success. Perhaps Im just built diff and cant tolerate it as a medication to help ease my Issues.. Love to hear experiences and input that worked for some folks! Thank you😊❀

I just tried cbd again, did nothing for me. Depends on the person.

Most of it is watered down crap. Everyone jumped in and there is not a lot of regulation. Some sellers have lab results on their site and sell decent concentrations. Those are more expensive than what you usually find.

There are no conclusive studies on THC but I have heard/read that a tiny amount of thc with CBD is helpful. So I got some edibles but I am very sensitive apparently. I take a small bite once in a blue moon. It does relax me. It does not give me a hangover in fact it is better than other sleep aids. For mental health hallucinogenic are getting more study love. Mescaline in particular. It is still not legal almost everywhere but not exactly hidden either. Word of caution... there are groups that look like money making cults which can be abusive if you get involved. There is a way to do this stuff that is very different than traditional meds. Micheal Pollen is a great resource for this information.

I have also started on the Mary Jane journey myself. You are right about the strains and dosages making a big difference. If you go to a dispensary, the budtenders are a wealth of knowledge. And can lead you down the right path. Personally, I use for anxiety and insomnia. I found the indica strain at low doses to be most helpful for me. I choose edibles because they are easier to regulate. One 5mg chocolate, or gummy, or hard candy and I can relax much better. Sometimes I take 7.5-10mg if insomnia is really bad. I am on prescribed antianxiety and antidepressants as well, but have found THC/CBD a great tool for for my toolbox.

I am on this site for my son that suffers from severe OCD and his THC journey is very different from mine. He needs to smoke a hybrid of indica, sativa and CBD and at much higher doses to find relief.

So everyone is definitely different. Keep trying and adjusting till you find what works best for you.

Good luck 🀞

Years ago i tried smoking weed and all it did was increase my anxiety. In my state weed and CBD is legal and there is a wide variety of products to choose from. A few years ago I tried CBD mostly to aid with sleeping and it seemed to help some. I even found a tincture of CBD and additional herbs for sleep and it helped but I found out that CBD is bad for those with glaucoma, which I have so I quit.

You're very welcome, glad to help and let me know if you have any other questions. One of the other natural things I found that helped some with anxiety and especially sleep issues is Valerian Root. I use a liquid tincture form of it and put 2 or 3 drops under my tongue at bedtime and it helps. You can find it at most health food stores.
