Hi, has anyone had any experience with using CBD oil to help with anxiety and/or depression? I would be very interested in hearing people's feedback as I am hoping to eventually replace my SSRI with CBD. Thankyou

I also heard lot of good reviews about it.Most claim it’s not prescribed by doctors but they still take anyways. It’s also called a miracle. I’m thinking of giving it a try but scared, lol

I'm experimenting with CBD gummies; trying different brands and strengths. I think the effect is subtle for my anxiety. I'm not on any meds except a low dose of Lithium. Some placebo effect I'm sure is going on. I really don't want to take psych meds. I have had bad experiences. Don't know if this helps.

it all helps, thanks

I took CBD hemp oil on 13 April this year and I got severely depressed I lost my appetite for a week and I felt like throwing myself off a cliff

Nowhere on the Internet was there any warning of reacting like that except UK NHS but I only read that after taking it

Obvs I am supersensitive and you will probably be fine but I urge you to approach it with caution

Don't have it with ssri either as you could get mild serotonin syndrome cbd oil is serotogenic

hi thankyou for your reply - yes, I had thought about the serotogenic effect, although I am actually trying to taper off a SSRI, so there would be less SSRI in y system anyway. However thankyou for your comments.

Sorry if it's not acceptable to reply to an old post. This just struck me - the few times that I've taken CBD oil, it has made me extremely melancholy, verging on tears for the entire day! I've never known anyone else with a similar experience.

Imagine feeling like that for months

All you see on the Internet is people bigging it up only the UK NHS warned of depression and suicidal feelings

I found it was able to calm me in cartain moments, but it didnt carry too many overarching benefits. It also gave me minor insomnia so I stopped.

I have been taking it for about 2 months. I purchased the 2000 mg. I take one dropper full twice a day. It's a bit pricey at $158 per bottle. And it lasts me about 4 weeks. I agree with the other responder, there may be some placebo affect. I don't think I'll purchase any more. Not enough benefit. But everyone is different. It won't hurt to try it. Not sure about taking it with your meds though. Good luck!!
