I have been having a really difficult time for the last 5 months controlling my panic attacks and severe anxiety. Most nights i cant sleep properly and will wake up tossing and turning many times. Recently i have been feeling even worse as though my life is not real and im living a constant cycle of just trying to survive days & im just scared. The fear i have of just basic things is so overwhelming i can never think straight. I guess im just writing this for some reassurance because i have been extremely down lately since my boyfriend of 5 years left 2 weeks ago to live in the US and he was the person i went to whenever i felt very unstable. Anyways im just trying to find ways to distract myself and calm my negative emotions.

Hey there I understand how you are feeling. I get bad anxiety attacks and can’t sleep well either. But it will get better. Some things that help me is to meditate. And find someone to talk to. I’ll be the person who listens if you’d like.

I have less anxiety than you do, but I wish I could give you some advice. I can relate to the boyfriend problem, because that's one of my reasons why I'm on here & why I deal with my anxiety diagnosis.

Have you had a medical exam? When I was your age I started having panic and anxiety issues. I found my thyroid was out of wack. After checking out medical reasons and if everything comes up clean. I would suggest trying mindfulness exercises. My smartwatch has an excellent website with many mindfulness activities available with a subscription. I've also found numerous exercises on YouTube. These are tools I wish I would have had access to when I was your age. ( I am 57 years old now). I use these exercises everyday for everything from a panic attack to falling asleep. I never would have believed it had someone told me I would fall asleep in less than 5 minutes after watching and listening to a mindfulness video, but yes... It actually works!
