Something has changed inside of me and I’m finding it hard to keep my spirits up or my head above water. I barely have anyone in my life and even my own sister won’t call me back for some reason. Every day I look at ways I can improve or change my situation. This all works if you have the energy and motivation which I am losing. I’m tired, fatigued and scared. I would just love a few words of encouragement. Thank you

That’s a good question about expectations. I guess I could say I was expecting at this point in life to be more clear about my purpose & direction. My life has been literally knocked off track by personal reasons in the pandemic. Recalculating my life is exhausting. So I guess at this point my expectations are simple… Just to rediscover myself and really see what makes me tick & wat makes me happy.
Reason I asked is level of happiness is determined by your expectations. How else can you explain why people all over the world can be happy with different access? Why are many filthy rich miserable? Think about it In life you do have to re-evaluate your expectations and purpose which it seems like you are doing. Don't let it get you down. I suggest checking out Hidden Brain life 2.0 series podcast. There are several seasons of episodes. There is at least one episode on purpose and goals from last year. 2020/1 was a time to look at goals for sure. The journey is complicated however. Another author is James Clear -- atomic habits. The key to becoming less overwhelmed and more clear is to break things down to a manageable size. I am really asking you to consider leaning in instead of letting it weigh you down. The reasons you list seem to be based in events in your life. You can decide which way they will transform your life but not whether they will transform your life.
Sorry to hear you are worthy of gratitude small things can make a difference to self worth the needs, some times the overwhelm can seem daunting but you can have the ability to rise above taking perspective. to more purposeful bliss lighten the burdens maybe a walk of tranquility mind setting you are worthy of self achieving positivity sharing perspective with likewise small steps can have a huge impact with hope and joy replenishing sense of value finding and inspiration with positive habits a sense of abundance and self awareness hope you can find inspiration and joy and compassionate and peace
