Head jolt quick zap vertigo
Are you on any medications ? My anti-depressants caused this when I first started taking them but eventually went away. Pam
Medications can cause various problems with balance.
I have a damaged spine in my neck, if I turn quick I become dizzy, this can also happen if we turn our head quick or rise up to quickly from seating, the blood supply to the brain does not compensate for the quick movement and the brain becomes starved of blood supply for a few seconds or so, the same can apply if you are running uphill the head becomes starved of red blood cells that contain oxygen and we can become dizzy. If you are anxious that will make your heart beat more.
If you are concerned talk to your GP

I don’t take any medications .it feels like an electric current ran through my head with just a little vertigo after.
Do you suffer from Anxiety, that can cause concerns. However as above talk to your GP.
Have you had your Eyes checked lately, we are supposed to have them checked every year or so ?
BOB
Yes I do suffer from anxiety . Health anxiety... I’ve seen a therapist once before last year . She said I only have a little anxiety .. but I’m just not my self . From bouts of vertigo that happened in oct. it scared me and brought on anxiety . I had blood work done and the only thing was extremely low vitamin d. I just don’t want it to be a tumor .

You mention been low in vit D3 If this is the case you are short of the sun. This medication is called the sunshine drug, I am nearly finished of a course of this, consists of thirty six Tbs taken every alternative day. Sometimes they also put you on B12, as our body gets short of that as well. I do not know how old you are although the body becomes less efficient producing B12 and as we get older it seems to have beneficial benefits. Your GP will be watching over you do not worry.
I get dizziness and similar so you are not alone. Let me know how you get on

I’m 34 , just last year oct I had vertigo and I got so worked up about it that I ended with anxiety and a little depression. I have more good days then bad days tho. I started vitamin d and bcomplex and started to feel better then I stopped . I should’ve continued maybe .
A course of D3 seems to consist of thirty six tbs, taken every other day, you then need to stop it and have a rest from taking it. Your GP will keep you on course.
B12 is also given, because sometimes the body cannot produce enough of it. Pensioners for both drugs benefit from both. My GP wanted to get me out in the garden, to sit in the sun to activate vit D3
I am going to have B12 injection once every 12 weeks, for life.
You will be ok, the medications do seem to perk me up

Thanks!
Yes it’s stress. Maybe your traps are tight you’re body is tensing up. Try to get massage and do some exercises that pull your shoulder blades together and down like theraband around a pol pull it with your arms squeezing your blades together and chin tucks and neck rolls. Breathing exercises. It might be putting tension in your neck shoulders forward too much. See how you do.
Thank you
