Today is my appointment for my mammogram. I’m feeling really scared… hope I don’t have something bad. 😰

No point in telling you not to worry - it's perfectly natural. I had mine 2 weeks ago and had to wait for the results . I was dreading the letter in the post, and when it arrived yesterday my hands were shaking. Thankfully all was fine. As I hope you will be . Sending you hugs and positive thoughts 🤗

Like MadBunny said, it would be silly to tell you not to worry because we all do. I just went through the exact same thing. I had a mammo and had to wait 2 weeks to get the results. I just found out yesterday that everything is okay. The one thing you can do is congratulate yourself for making the appointment in the first place and doing what needs to be done to take good care of your health. That in itself is empowering. Compare it to if you had been too scared to make the appointment. That is a stress in itself because you are giving yourself and internal message that you aren't doing what needs to be done and then prolonging the worry even further. Doing that helped me deal with the process at least a little bit. If you need anyone to vent to while you are waiting for the results, please don't hesitate to message me. ❤️
