Hey guys. My doc prescribed me latuda. 20MG. Least to say I'm nervous. This is my first antipsychotic and well they usually get a bad rep so I'm pretty scared to start them..
I want a positive outcome of course but I'm convinced the only thing its gonna do Is knock me on my arse. I wanna feel alive. Not sedated...
Anyone else on it?

Good! My sister has had a changed life on Latuda! Literally has her life back. Almost seems too good to be true, but has lasted -when she is med compliant-for the past 2 years.,
So far the side affects are kind of minimal... I’m still depressed but more angry when I take it I feel like my eyes are popping out of my head and feel like I’m moving faster than I am.. I’m hoping it will go away. Did your sister have side affects with Latida?
If the med is right for you, it won’t knock you on your arse.... unfortunately different meds are for different people nothing works the same for everyone. If this doesn’t work another one might.... don’t give up
I’ve taken Latuda before. It worked a little too good for me. I was so fidgety that I could not, literally, stand still. I would sway back and forth, tap my fingers, etc. it was wired for sound. I was happy, but boy was I wound tight!
