Dear Nat……I’ve just returned to HU after a break…. I’ve just read your post about your eye problem, first of all, don’t fear the worst until you know all of the facts, that will put more stress on your anxiety…. Get a second opinion from another optition.I went for an eye scan because I had a mist in my eyes, that was in 2019, I was given an appointment to see an eye specialist at my local hospital, but they kept putting the appointment back due to the Covid Pandemic.
It turned out that I had cataract’s in both eyes, which if they were not removed, I would go blind.
I had to wait another nine months for surgery to remove the cataract in my left eye, and a new lens inserted, all of this was done while I was awake…. My other eye had surgery six weeks later…… recovery to full clear vision was about three months……Our world truly does have beautiful colours in it.
I am a 78 year old Military Veteran living in the Uk…… I hope my story has given you some comfort…. and that everything works out fine for you, and your eye.
You are more than welcome to PM me at anytime, where do you live etc.
