New here. Have GAD. i.e. I'll watch a movie I haven't seen before on TV. The character will head into a room where there is danger; or do something embarrassing, and I'll have a small panic attack or anxious feeling to the point and 'drop out of the movie,' and tell myself it's just actors. But then I can't enjoy the movie. So I end up just watching movies I've seen before. Got a pill for that?

Welcome! I have GAD, too. You are not alone. I get way too much into a movie or TV show that I can get anxious, too. So I can relate. Sending you a huge hug! I hope you get some support on here. I have!

There are lots of videos on You Tube for anxiety & deep breathing is really important in trying to control anxiety. Once you get the hang of it you can easily practice it while watching tv & it can calm you down quickly.
