Really getting worn down by this constant feeling of death.
Our kids went back to school today after Christmas break , my wife is at work and here I am all alone in our house with these stirring thoughts that I have some underlying medical condition that's going to take me away from my family.
Does anyone know of a good depression holiness to call.

In my opinion, you should need to stay in touch with your surrounding & friends. That's how you can make yourself busy. You can try different coping strategies ( exercise, deep breathing Take part in house chores and surroundings). Along with that, you can take counseling if required. I hope this little tip helps you.
It sounds like you would benefit from finding a therapist who treats health anxiety and depression. You might also benefit from medication. Do some research on the web for therapists near you and check out their websites to find one thats a fit for you. If finances or lack of health insurance is an issue, check with your Counties social services.
Hi,first step - visit your Dr for a thorough check-up so he/ she can reassure you that there is nothing physically wrong. Then talk to him / her about how you are feeling. I'm not a professional but it does sound like you may have some depression and we are lucky in 2022 that we have good therapy and medicine available to help.
Try to stay busy - take up a new hobby, join a club where you can interact with people but just don't keep these feelings bottled up inside.
I ease my mind by finding a Pastor to pray with me - and looking up 'health healing' passages from the Bible -like this one: "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." (Jeremiah 17) Pray this over several times (there are others). In due time - you will feel the comfort of passages like this one. God Bless! Prayers for you!
This all came about November of this year when I had a massive panic attack on my way home from work and it all spiraled out of control a couple weeks afterwards. Now I can not seem to regain control over any of this and I live in a constant state of depression because I am convinced I'm dying.
