My anxiety has completely gotten the best of me. It’s crippling. I don’t want to leave the house but there is things to do. I am autoimmune compromised and this new variant scares me. I live in a hub for Covid and cannot have my booster vaccine until March. My gastroenterologist said absolutely not when I emailed him the end of last year. I wear a mask and rarely leave my home. My husband does the majority of out errands. But in February I fell down a stairwell and really hurt my neck so I’m in bed the majority of the day I n a heating pad and taking over the counter medications to control some of the pain. I refuse to take narcotics. I just want my life back before this fall. I want this crazy anxiety to stop making my life chaos. I need peace. I want peace. I am tired of being scared. Please dear G-d with your grace guide me. Happy New Year everyone 🙏🏻💪🏼🥰
Anyone with any tips that truly work? I talk walks. I’m in the sunlight for 20 minutes a day. My sleep is being disrupted from my pain. Any suggestions are truly appreciated. 🥰🕊🧿

Hello Lilcake.I can assure you are not alone. I understand crippling anxiety because I have many experiences with this. I know how depressing and life changing dealing with pain can be. I am dealing with it as well for about 3 weeks now. I also had fibroids that caused awful pain😬 and required surgery. I learned during this time, to do my best!. You can only do as much as your body allows.
Sleep is important. Try the Wim Hof guided breathing exercises free on you tube. The 3 round one. Best before getting out of bed on empty stomach. But can be done before other meals too. Go for a second 20 minute walk. After your shower rinse 5 minutes in cool water. Google cold shower therapy for mental health.
Lilcake, I’m so sorry to hear you're suffering … crippling anxiety is a beast that doesnt get tired. I treat my anxiety with mega dosed cbd and thankgod it helps …otherwise I would never sleep have constant diarrhea and nausea… try to stay positive …. Cbd has shown to mitigate pain … can you try this route.? Healer.com has lots of info and studies on cbd and you can get a consult on what to try …
