First, thanks for telling us.

I lost a roommate and my daughter lost a friend.

I’ve never considered it myself, but I’ve understood why people do. You just want the pain and despair to be over.

Others who know more will reply, LeenMomani. Know that you are loved more than you can imagine, you are just temporarily blinded to it.

Speak to your doctor about these thoughts. He will get you good psychiatrist

Thank you for sharing. This is just a moment in time. I know it can be difficult to see that today. But it can pass. My dr helped with meds so I could sleep. Sleep is really important, you can use that as a first step.

I am sorry that you are feeling so awful. And I can relate having had depression since childhood.

Please talk to a doctor about getting your sleep regulated. Even when a person doesn't have depression, lack of sleep is like torture. (It actually is used as a form of torture).

There is hope. I have seen others greatly improve and I have experienced it myself. Please keep going! 💚

Hey, I feel for you, I've been there. Know that it will get better, summer will come round again. Talk to you doctor about medication for both sleep and depression. There are many medications out there which can help, so if one doesn't work there are many others to try.

Keep getting out for walks, and see if you can distract yourself by reading a book.

It's horrible being where you are right now, I know, but I also know that you will recover, as so many of us have.

Much love to you, X

I agree with pretty much everything here. Find the right medication and psychiatrist and definitely find something to distract yourself. I read but I also play video games (yes I’m a 43 year old female, don’t judge 😂) and it really does help. You may not like to read or play video games but find something you do like. Maybe adult colouring books, puzzles, apps of different kinds, learn a new language etc.

When you are feeling more up to it there is a book I would recommend called 'Overcoming Depression', it's part of the 'Treatments That Work' series. You can find a free pdf copy by googling it. It's the workbook version you want. It's full of info and worksheets to help aid your recovery, and help identify what's causing your depression. X

I’m sorry for what you are going through! Don’t give up, people love you and need you.

Find someone to talk to and get a good hug.

Spend some time with a pet, especially a cat or dog. Animals will give you unconditional love.

And there’s a reason for us, our lives and what we go through. Pray to God and ask for help, but talk to him.

Giving you a hug

Go see a doctor. Things you can do right now. Practice the Wim Hof guided breathing exercises free on you tube. Before meals on empty stomach. They have a 5 round if you master the 3 round. Get 45 minutes of cardio exercise daily. After your shower rinse in cool water for 5 minutes. Each week lowering the temperature a little bit until after a month it’s pure cold. Google cold shower therapy for mental health. I am doing all this stuff and it helps me sleep and feel better. Check my profile to see why I’m struggling. I am battling illness and I want to live. And I’m scared of dying. And the anxiety is rough. The above methods help me. Even though our problems are polar opposite. I think they are the same. Because I can only put up with so much of my problems, before I say.. oh well who cares what happens.. and I’m right where you are. We all want you to be strong and healthy and happy. I need you to fight for life. It’s so worth it. Yes there are times it’s pretty rough. But it won’t last if you get help and try the things people and experts suggest.. love you mom .. your a mom.. the most important thing in life.. the best thing in life.. use being a mom for strength.. talk to god like a friend, if your a believer
