Hi ZOO7 One of the best books I've found was Dr. Claire Weekes' "Hope & Help for Your Nerves" It explains the symptoms of anxiety as well as how to overcome the

thoughts that precede panic and anxiety. Her theory of "Acceptance" has been used

world wide for years. I have found it to be the basis of my healing.

There is always a reason anxiety makes it's appearance. It is important at the beginning

to get a full health exam to determine if any of what you are feeling is coming from a

physical issue. Once that is clear then we can help you work on the emotional aspect

of anxiety. We're here for you.

Also look on YouTube (which is my go to) for Dr. Weekes' videos as well as "Therapy in a

Nutshell" which is done by a professional and has many topics that will help you through

these hard times. Please come back as often as you need to. We learn through others

who have experienced mental health issues and do understand and care :)xx

A Big Little Life : A Memoir of a Joyful Dog Named Trixie by Dean Koontz.

Also, Trixie wrote her own book, assisted by Mr. Koontz. Bliss to You: Trixie's Guide to a Happy Life.

I agree with the Claire Weekes suggestion and I’ve also had help from the Barry Mcdonagh program called DARE: help for anxiety and depression. They have a lot of videos on YouTube that can get you jump started as well as a book and app!

I am here too for you and i find good and bad things on you tube etc..you have to glean them and see what works for you. Im sorry so many deal with this. Going to a good mental wellness site may give more info on books etc.I really liked a guidance book that had to do with art. it took you thru practises and you would draw your thoughts at the time.best wishes,

I agree with the Claire Weekes books, also there's a 7 week plan workbook based on CBT "The Anxiety Workbook" by Arlin Cuncic MA I still deal with it ... I'm on Buspar and that helps also it's a non narcotic medicine so it's easy to get a script

Dr. Weekes is great Also people who have followed her and have great books, podcast, etc. Have helped me cure my GAD. Book one Drew Linsalata The Anxious Truth. Book two is Josh Fletcher Untangle Your Anxiety. And if you have access to Instagram check out DLC Anxiety. Take care you can overcome this.

I agree...Claire Weeks is fab for anxiety and panic problems. Deceased now, it amazes me that no one else has written anything close to this in all this time. Books and you tube videos easily available. Take care.
