Something about holding a beauty pageant for world leaders seems hilarious. Swimsuit competition, evening wear competition, talent competition, then asking them a deep philosophical question. I think Justin Trudeau of Canada might win every single war if that were the case.

What are some fun and interesting alternatives to war that countries could settle their differences with?
A bawdy night out on the town in Paris. Itβs an icebreaker. ππΌββοΈ
Paris, the city of romance right? Maybe peace will be reached pretty quickly, followed by a lot of awkward silence the next morning.
πHe'd probably hate to coordinate that one.
Sitting down for βοΈ and watching the sunrise Haha

Some of those leaders might not make it past bedtime.
Now that was a great reply.πππ
Even as a guy I've often wondered why they hold these pageants. Is it demeaning? I haven't watched very many but my wife likes them. Especially when Steve Harvey messed the one up.π. I think they should play cribbage.
When I was a little girl, I remember playing Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels with my friends. But I don't ever remember playing beauty pageant.
When I younger all us kids played hide and seek or whatever outside. I dont recall any girls having any characters. Just them playing barbies.
Cribbage, eh? A competitive game. Just make sure all weapons are checked at the door. π₯΄
Especially the little pins. Could put out an eye.π€
Actually they should join debates. Every US (probably EU too) woman world leader was in debate club.
π
What are you ladies opinions on the pageants? Or even the Olympic games outfits such as the diving or the beach volleyball. I know some of the female athletes I talk to say the Olympic outfits gives more freedom to move but no mention of too small or too revealing.π€
If I was a beauty pageant contestant answering this question, I would say, "Let's focus on the men's uniforms. Shrink those shorts down to speedos, lose the shirts, and borrow some oil from the Hot Tonga Guy."
Lol. I don't blame you. Those guys have some muscles.πͺπͺπͺ. And prob other things I can't say on here.πππ
Let's equalize the playing field by objectifying men. We all know two wrongs don't make a right, but really should. π€ͺ
I agree π―% with you. If degrade women why not men?I remember when I was in Athens, Greece and the tour guide talking about the Olympics back in the day. He said the men use to do the Olympics in the nude to show their masculine bodies in the fullest. I heard one lady shout out " that would make the Olympics fun to watch again". Hilarious.ππ
The beach volley ball teams asked the Olympic committee for less skimpy uniforms this year. They were turned down.
Wonder why turned down? Crazy. Couldn't the women boycott then?
Maybe the next four years will see a change. Boycotting the Olympics? I can imagine the pushback on that. Those olympians are dedicated athletes and wouldnβt let something like that stand in the way of doing what they have trained so hard to do. Iβm sure there will be negotiations about it..
Yes they train hard but the exploitation is not a good thing for women. I realize they still participate in the Olympic still. But.... No pun intended.
Hmm π€ Algeria could give people money in exchange for peace π€£
I had to Google Algeria and educate myself to see it that was even possible.
I world where straight men lead nothing. Take a break guys.
what do you mean?
The world has been led by straight (heterosexual) men for centuries. Even when they mean well their world is centered around them so they don't even see how people are affected. They are too used to the power and here we are. Women, for one, are more willing to talk things through instead of immediately resort to violence.
