What are some fun and interesting alternatives to war that countries could settle their differences with?

Something about holding a beauty pageant for world leaders seems hilarious. Swimsuit competition, evening wear competition, talent competition, then asking them a deep philosophical question. I think Justin Trudeau of Canada might win every single war if that were the case.

A bawdy night out on the town in Paris. It’s an icebreaker. 💁🏼‍♀️

Paris, the city of romance right? Maybe peace will be reached pretty quickly, followed by a lot of awkward silence the next morning.

😁

Even as a guy I've often wondered why they hold these pageants. Is it demeaning? I haven't watched very many but my wife likes them. Especially when Steve Harvey messed the one up.😂. I think they should play cribbage.

When I was a little girl, I remember playing Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels with my friends. But I don't ever remember playing beauty pageant.

in reply to LadyZen

When I younger all us kids played hide and seek or whatever outside. I dont recall any girls having any characters. Just them playing barbies.

Hide and seek, yeah that was popular with us too. I didn't really like my Barbie for some reason. I ended up drawing a mustache on her face. I think I thought she was scary looking.

in reply to LadyZen

You're the one who made Barbie turn into the Ken Barbie doll.😂

We played wonder woman, never Charlie's Angels. In fact I wasn't allowed to watch CA. I had fantasies about being on Battlestar Galactica.

Cribbage, eh? A competitive game. Just make sure all weapons are checked at the door. 🥴

in reply to Isinatra

Especially the little pins. Could put out an eye.🤕

Actually they should join debates. Every US (probably EU too) woman world leader was in debate club.

What are you ladies opinions on the pageants? Or even the Olympic games outfits such as the diving or the beach volleyball. I know some of the female athletes I talk to say the Olympic outfits gives more freedom to move but no mention of too small or too revealing.🤔

If I was a beauty pageant contestant answering this question, I would say, "Let's focus on the men's uniforms. Shrink those shorts down to speedos, lose the shirts, and borrow some oil from the Hot Tonga Guy."

in reply to LadyZen

Lol. I don't blame you. Those guys have some muscles.💪💪💪. And prob other things I can't say on here.😂😂😂

Let's equalize the playing field by objectifying men. We all know two wrongs don't make a right, but really should. 🤪

in reply to LadyZen

I agree 💯% with you. If degrade women why not men?I remember when I was in Athens, Greece and the tour guide talking about the Olympics back in the day. He said the men use to do the Olympics in the nude to show their masculine bodies in the fullest. I heard one lady shout out " that would make the Olympics fun to watch again". Hilarious.😂😂

Isinatra in reply to

The beach volley ball teams asked the Olympic committee for less skimpy uniforms this year. They were turned down.

in reply to Isinatra

Wonder why turned down? Crazy. Couldn't the women boycott then?

Isinatra profile image
Isinatra in reply to

Maybe the next four years will see a change. Boycotting the Olympics? I can imagine the pushback on that. Those olympians are dedicated athletes and wouldn’t let something like that stand in the way of doing what they have trained so hard to do. I’m sure there will be negotiations about it..

in reply to Isinatra

Yes they train hard but the exploitation is not a good thing for women. I realize they still participate in the Olympic still. But.... No pun intended.

Isinatra profile image
Isinatra in reply to

I think the athletes have that covered. ……no pun intended. 🙃

in reply to Isinatra

So I don't need to cover my eyes then.😂

Hmm 🤔 Algeria could give people money in exchange for peace 🤣

LadyZen profile image
LadyZen in reply to Hb2003

I had to Google Algeria and educate myself to see it that was even possible.

Hb2003 profile image
Hb2003 in reply to LadyZen

I doubt it would be possible but hypothetically probably. Although it’s a rich country a lot of people can’t get food easily due to how costly it is . And people are protesting too

I world where straight men lead nothing. Take a break guys.

LadyZen profile image
LadyZen in reply to Blueruth

what do you mean?

Blueruth profile image
Blueruth in reply to LadyZen

The world has been led by straight (heterosexual) men for centuries. Even when they mean well their world is centered around them so they don't even see how people are affected. They are too used to the power and here we are. Women, for one, are more willing to talk things through instead of immediately resort to violence.
