Its just getting too difficult each day......

I just can't seem to make anything right. I just fail and fail everyday because of my depression, loneliness, stress, and recent emotional struggles.

Does anyone know a virtual support group where I can talk about what I want and listen others talking too? I'm becoming too lonely nowadays.

Hi OldTimer! Are you looking for one in India? I’m afraid I only know if groups in US time zones.

I did a little searching and found a therapist that holds virtual support groups across India. I don’t know if they are what you want, but there were several different groups listed. These are supposedly led by a degreed therapist. healingstudio.in/supportgro...

Another place to look for groups is to check on Meetup. Meetup is a platform to help people organize groups of all kinds. Many of these groups have gone virtual because of the pandemic. There will be a mix of people, young and older too, and a mix of topics. I attend some professional ones and I’ve also been to informal meetups for group hiking.

Here’s one group for depression, for example:

I know how you feel. I have a hard time connecting with others. I think one reason for me is fear of rejection. Most people don't understand mental health issues and harshly judge us. I don't know of any online support groups . There are some other groups like this one that are more tailored to divorce issues or addictions for example. I keep educating myself on CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder). I don't know if you have had alot of losses in your life or trauma. A teacher by the name of Tim Fletcher I found on YouTube has helped me alot understand why I behave the way I do and stay isolated.😐I hope you find at least one friend you can connect with.In the meantime keep talking to us. We care.🤗💔

Thanks for being considerate and responding @Tara52. I will check out Tim Fletcher. I didn't have major loss in my life like I haven't lost someone. But my depression and anxiety has been chipping away at me since 7 years now. Compounding effect :p
