This sounded like a fun question to get me up on my day off. I would either be a losing swimmer or a winning gymnast. I love to swim, but I'm too short for the sport. But my height would be a benefit in gymnastics and I'm really flexible.
If you were in the Olympics, what spo... - Anxiety and Depre...
If you were in the Olympics, what sport would you play? and why?
Floor gymnastics - I love to dance.
I always loved best the floor gymnastics with dance in the olympic games.
My favourite exercise in youth was jazz ballet .
I love the floor routine too. So effortlessly done. Amazing athletes!!
I grew up swimming during summer, spring, fall and winter so it holds a special place in my heart. Memories......also luuuv dance and choreography so if I must choose an Olympic sport it would be synchronized swimming.
Truth be told, I've never watched an Olympic show more than mere seconds.
I love the Olympics. Both summer and winter. Problem with it being in other countries is the air time. I know who won before I watch it.π
π₯΄
U can always pretend u dont know and act out all the emotions involved in watching a competitive sport. Feigning ignorance is such bliss. Jokes aside, I never know who wins cuz I dont go reading or looking at anything related to it beforehand. The Olympics isnt my cup of tea
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I have played basketball. High school here.
If I ever watched a game which is rare and mostly basketball or soccer its the last 15-20 min. Seeing the game in recap with all the highlight reel is more my alley. I'd rather play a game rather than sit and watch any day. I like to cheat too and trash talk with friends and family....loool
taekwondo Because Iβve learnt it for 3-4 years when i was 8-9 years old. And kho-kho because itβs too much fun.
Show offπ. I'm only 5'1. I can swim like a dolphin though and can beat any amateur by a mile (Can you tell, I have a mild chihuahua complex.)
Yes, I think so, but I think I made up chihuahua complex because it's cuter. Who wants to look like Napolean.
I'd love to do either swimming, gymnastics or diving. I can swim. Not so much flipping in the air for gymnastic. Diving I would bellyflops. I can dream tho right?π

(LadyZen sics a pack of cuddly toy dogs on ChavivLeon that cover him with doggy kisses.)
Ice skating. I wanted to be a professional dancer when I was younger. Stage, costumes, excitement. Ice skating would be the next best thing. But (thereβs always a but), itβs very physically demanding and requires immense dedication. Something I couldnβt do at such a young age. So instead, I sit back and enjoy the beauty of the sport. βΈ
I guess I love the Olympics more than I thot. The mixed skating doubles are great. I guess I like all of it.π
I find the personal stories of the athletes draws me in even more. What might start out to be a boring sport to me , becomes exciting. Like the Jamaican bobsledders. Not a drop of ice in the country, yet went on to win the gold medal. Go Jamaica π―π²! Or when the amateur American ice hockey players went up against seasoned players from Russia and won. Gives me goose bumps.
The horses were beautiful this year.
Yep; for me it would have to be something with horses. Alternatively for Winter Olympics, Seated Skiiing (paralympics)
Cheers, Midori
This is an awesome post!!
Beach volley ball.... my nose is perfect for it π¬
β€οΈπ¬
I forgot about volleyball...π. I think I logged alot of hours watching the Olympics.π.
Beach volley ballβ¦youβd be perfect. How βbout those outfits, though? Hmmm?
I think I would look better than Charlize in a beach volley ball outfit. Look at this body π¬
β€οΈπ¬
Sleek, sound and definitely curvy. ππΌπ
Isn't it crazy how small theyve gotten. Need blinders/ sunglasses.
π
Right. I believe that is to keep the girlfriend from seeing you watch them closely.π
Yep. The womenβs beach volley ball teams asked the Olympic committee this time around if they could have uniforms that werenβt so skimpy. They were denied their request. π³I have a sneaky suspicion the committee consists of mostly men.
I remember that. I think you may be right about the all male committee. Wonder what the wife's thinking are knowing their husband are on the committee. "Oh honey we decided to make the volleyball women's shorts shorter and sports bras tighter.π
ππΌπ
Synchronized swimming if Iβm dreamingπ€£
Turn it into a reality by practicing in your bathtub π
As long as the weather is holding out this is what I like to do!!
Such a cutie....he can get a cameo role playing canine superhero in the movie JAWS or Flipper.
I would play darts as I can do that. Not very good though but it's the only sport I ever enjoyed!
watching the climbing was good in this Olympics the speed of them was good to watch maybe me and hyper could represent the UK in darts in seeing it`s something I`m good at a long with pool.
Hi LadyZen. I would be a sprinter doing the 100m as the adrenilin and atmosphere would be amazing. Out of Olympics I would be a striker for my favourite football team Aston Villaπ
LadyZen, I've never been athletic but am a good card player lolWhat if I just sit on the side lines and be a Medic for those "just in case instances"
That's where my true passion has always been xx
Hmm probably fencing βΊοΈ because Ibtihaj Mohamed did it and she was a famous Muslim fencer and she still is
This is a tough sport to win at. Takes skills.
Track and field
Amazing sport. Usain Bolt is/was a beast. Now he's retired. I think he can still beat every one yet.
