Question 2: Imagine yourself walking alone through a forest. You stumble across a path, describe the path. Is the path clearly visible?
Are there any other paths?
Is the path wide or narrow?
Is the path traveled?
Are there any obstructions on the the path?
My response: Yes, the path is visible. It's just one dirt path. It's wide enough for 2 people to walk down comfortably and chat. It seems to be traveled because there's no grass. There's no obstructions, just a smooth worn-down solid path.

The path I see ahead of me is not one that is often traveled. The trees create a tunnel, at the end of the tunnel the sun's light can be seen. Something that the path itself, hasn't seen in quite some time.
The path appears to have been here for centuries. The masonry is not one that you see often, not by today's standard. Life has found its way to push past the cobble stone, stretching out and leaning towards the end of the tunnel. Each blade of grass a brilliant, unique shade of green.
Parallel groves, run down the path. Perhaps from a carriage that had once frequented the path, wearing down the stone.
There aren't any obstructions but the path is a long one.
As I come up the hill in the middle of the forest there’s a crossroads …..it’s been raining so they’re all muddy about 10 ft wide ….shit I say as I realise I’ve not got wellies on and it dawns on me i think I’m lost …..I stand scratching my head unable to make a decision which path to take ….just then an owl flys out of the trees to my right …I follow this path …looking up to the sky …I didn’t see the large rock in my path and I stumble over it banging my head on the ground….?
Sorry, but in my imagination, I unconsciously laughed, then hurried over to make sure you were okay. The falling at the end was unexpected, and felt like comedic timing, so that's what made me laugh until I realized, wait, he hit his head.
There are 2 paths that are clearly visible. One path widens when i turn right and the other path narrows when i turn left . there’s an obstruction intersecting both of the paths ,
I stumble on a wide muddy path from the recent rainfall. The wet earth heavily sticks to the soles of my shoes and weighs down the progress of any movement. The path is unobstructed but its sides are surrounded by thorned bushes and hovering branched leaves dangling from trees. There is darkness upon darkness but the moon and torch provide enough visibility. The path abruptly ends by a large body of water.
It's just a straight path ahead its a wide path 4 people can happily walk next to each other comfortably. No grass dry mud which is hard not messy or muddy. No obstruction in the way. It's a peaceful calming walk. Wish I had bought my friends here to enjoy the cool fresh air with me.
The path is narrow. Rock and dirt. Single file only as there are trees on either side. It has been well traveled and effected by weather, as you can see tree roots in some spots. It's hilly in some areas. There are many other grass/dirt paths to the right. To the left is an inlet of salt water.
So here is the big reveal of what the path represents. I think my path reveals that I felt like I wasn't isolated from friends and family, but I didn't have a lot of opportunities for emotional growth. What did it reveal for you?:
Adolescence is represented by the path through the forest.
The path's visibility indicates how prepared you were to handle situations during adolescence.
The more visible the path, the more successful you were at anticipating changes, and facing challenges.
A less visible path means you were less aware of what to expect and therefore some events may have left you feeling perplexed and bewildered.
Multiple paths are important choices that had to be made. If you saw many paths, you either saw many opportunities for yourself, or you were very confused about what choices to make.
The width of the path indicates room for emotional growth. The wider the path the more opportunities existed for emotional growth.
Meeting fellow travelers along the way, or a tidy and well maintained path, are indications of a frequently used path. A path that is not so frequently used, may have weeds and be scattered with litter.
The more traveled the path, the less evidence there is of feeling isolated from your friends and family.
Obstructions are the way that we perceive problems in adolescence. The more rocks, weeds and logs we see along the path, the more we feel that certain circumstances prevented us from accomplishing our goals.
Sounds right for me 😊 I was hoping I was walking with 3 friends whilst walking that path. Like I'd come back to that forest with my friends. Yet in real life I prefer one to one friendships as a crowd of friends is more trouble from what I've experienced from life. Less loyalty more bad behaviour and bickering. Not sure what that means but I thought I'd share. Maybe its because I've always wanted to be a part of a group of friends but when experience it wasn't the way I had imagined it to be.
My path is wide enough for 2 people and it’s gravel and windy. It’s lined with many trees, most of which only have half their leaves as the rest of their orange, yellow and red leaves are on the ground covering the gravel. Beside the path to the left is a small stream hat you can only see at certain parts of the path. There are a few benches along the path and at the very end of the path is a large river with picnic tables all around.
