I suspect you will get a lot of conflicting opinions on this. I for one, can be a procrastinator, so telling myself that I can do it tomorrow, isn't a great thing. This means for me that it probably won't get done. Lol. Another thought-life doesn't always go according to plan, so you may think that you have enough time to do it tomorrow, but doesn't it ALWAYS feel like something else always comes up? So I guess I'm saying-if you feel well enough and not too tired, then do it today!

Haha... Thanks! I m defiantly not a procrastinator! I always want to finish things TODAY. However, my day is shorter than my TO do list & energy and I am not OK with that. So I m trying to learn the opposite way.

It depends on why you’re leaving it “til tomorrow” - is it because it’s “not important enough” to be dealt with today?

What I’ve taken to doing is making a list of jobs that need doing, prioritise them (traffic light system), as well as deciding what I’m well enough to deal with that day. The other thing I’ve learnt (through middle age arriving!), is to pick my battles and to pace myself steadily.

Thanks. I heard that so much... But I think I need to learn let go. I just have too much tasks n not possible to get them all done in 1 day which create anxiety. You got 1 good point ☝️-as well as deciding what I’m well enough to deal with that day. I have to STOP within my ability.

If I'm feeling really overwhelmed, sometimes I put certain things off. It just depends on my mental state at the time. :) But usually I do try to get a lot of tasks done, especially ones that require my immediate attention. If it's something around the house or cleaning/organizing, I make a list going from room to room of what I need to do and that helps me organize my thoughts. Put on some music or even call a friend while you do things if you want. :) Also, peppermint and peppermint candy can help you focus. I'm proud of you and sending you the best.
