How have people dealt with that feeling that you may have on an off day or a weekend where you feel like being out and about and doing stuff or otherwise being productive but also feel tired and like not doing anything?
It feels like conflicting messages my body is sending me and I'm not fully sure how to process it. I want to do something rewarding or stimulating with my off day but feel little energy to do it and then feel disappointed that I didn't take enough action. I know my body needs the relaxation time but it's hard to fully appreciate it when you have to spend all day wrestling with feeling like you're not doing enough.
Anybody have any tips on how you get around that feeling when you have it? Or at least how to take the pressure off myself?

When I feel this way I tend to just sleep I know that it’s not the best way or ideal way to deal with it but sleep does help me when I am in a weird or restless mood
I hate that feeling. It’s better to just go out and do something, even if it’s small tasks. Go to the store, get gas and a car wash. Pick up some food or a treat. Go for a bike ride or a walk. That way you’ve accomplished something and won’t feel so bad about chilling for the rest of the day.
I've been trying to change things here and there but a lot of my life is pretty set right now (job, residence, etc.). I'm fortunate to have that in these times especially but you're right. I get that point about the excitement of being out there, doing things, etc. I'm lucky not to be particularly fearful of being outside but I just hit that wall and feel a sort of underlying pressure to do something and not waste my time. But in practice, your gradual approach has worked for me. It can just be hard sometimes to translate from thinking about it to actually doing it.
I can relate to not doing much at times. At time it's hard to get off the dime and do something. I start over- analyzing the situation and get stuck. The key I found is to just start doing something - even the smallest thing like watering the lawn, make a call, etc. Once in motion - it's easier to move to the next thing on my list. I give myself permission to rest on Sunday's usually - to recharge. Making some achievable goals helps too. It's a bonus if I can find someone else with the same goals - to help me stick to the mission I want to achieve. Prayers for your success in getting things done that are important to you!
