Seeing beyond the Magnifying Glass

I was reading an article the other day about anxiety and depression. It’s key point was that (1) depression lives in the past and (2) anxiety fears the future.

My own experience is that both are created and defined through how we see and perceive ourselves and the world we inhabit. Essentially, and through the workings of nature and nuture, we become prisoners of our mind captured by our creations. Locked and focused on seeing and living life though a magnifying glass that enlarges the little into the big. We make monsters of our inner insects and instincts.

So, what would happen if for one day we put that microscope aside and saw ourselves and the world through a wider lens - being as we are rather than as we have grown to become?

Love G xx
