I completely agree. I hate settling down to watch a movie and at some point during relaxation I get a hot sensation run down me and my heart starts racing. I have been dealing with some form since grade school, many many years ago. I have gone months to years without it interfering, just to have it return. Finally I realized it is a part of me that makes me, me I guess. Coping skills, learning your body and yearly physicals are what I need to overcome anxiety. I just wish I always thought so rational but that's what makes anxiety a surprise even though you know what it is you've survived all the other attacks. We don't seem to remember how to stop it when it comes back or it's learned our new behavior or coping skills so it gets a new plan. It's exhausting but we are stronger than anxiety. I hope it subsides soon for you. Just keep reminding yourself you are safe and this feeling will not last forever. Gentle hug 🤗🤗

Your welcome 🙏 😊

The thing about anxiety is that it never goes away. The common misconception of anxiety is that it's just something that can be conquered and gotten rid of. Well it isn't. Anxiety is an emotion not unlike excitement. They both cause the same kinds of bodily responses and the same kinds of feelings. The trick is to learn what to do when it happens. So when you start to feel anxious you can use those learned coping skills to ground you and bring you back to reality. It's not always going to work but it's just like anger. You can have skills to deal with anger but eventually something is just going to make you mad. And that is okay. But it's more about learning to cope with it and learning that it's a feeling just like any other. Once you do that it becomes more manageable. Work on your coping skills and set your life up for mental strength. Get a routine in, exercise, and journal before bed. Those things should help as well. Also, limit your stressors and make sure no matter what to take some time out of your week to just decompress.
