There's a resource that is available right now through a COVID-19 grant. Peer Crisis Counselors are providing services - talking about whatever is on your mind, developing coping mechanisms related to stress from the pandemic or providing information to resources available (mental health, housing, etc.). This is the website: calhopeconnect.org/ where you can chat online. They also have support groups running.

Sharing Resource: Crisis Counseling
Hello ZJ.
Just a quick question about ur post ... is this a UK only based grant or somewhere else in the world as there are people here from different countries too. TYIA
It's a FEMA grant for the state of California, although the counselors will talk to whomever pops in. They may not be able to provide resources outside of California, but they can talk to anyone.
Thank you for sharing, it seems this is for Californians in particular. The live chat person seemed to appreciate my comment about having an avocado toast crisis 😂
I have been looking for something like that for a while now. I tried Better Help (I think it's called) to no avail. They want $75 per week, which I cannot afford. I have to talk to someone though. I've never been this far down. Thank you for posting the link.
