I’ve never tried it but I don’t see how it wouldn’t be effective.

I don’t know if you’re religious at all but sometimes local churches provide free counseling services online and in person. It might be something you could look into.

I’d rather not do in person counseling. And I am I just don’t have a church home.

Do some research on churches near you that match your beliefs and that provide the necessary services you are looking for. I’ve recently gotten back into my faith and it is definitely my saving grace. I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know what you find. I’m here for you too.💕

Thank you so much

It does costs a lot. Another reason I have not opted for one yet.

I suppose we have to start somewhere.

Try looking for something. Don’t loose hope!

I'm on the week free trial of BetterHelp but this is something I'm really going to have to think about.

LostEmotion, I had always been hesitant to just randomly pick an on line therapist.

You never know who you are talking with and if they are credible. I did however, just

this evening see a commercial on tv regarding on line therapy for Anxiety. I feel if

they put out the money for a national commercial (which doesn't come cheap) maybe

they may be for true. Anxiety and Depression seems to be growing with our population

each and every day. Appointments with psychiatrists and therapists are getting backlogged. Something needs to be done to address those with mental health sooner

than later. The cost is always a big factor. I wish you well. xx

My husband is a therapist trying to start his practice. He is researching doing on line counseling as it may be more accessible to people. I don’t know ethically if insurance can be billed or not. He’s still looking into it.

So far on the site BetterHelp I like it. I am trying it for a week free. I think it reaches a lot more people in need. I don't like going in to an office and talking to someone I would rather text or call or whatever... I am also a very very busy person.. I honestly don't have time to make appointments and stuff like that.. I work during the day till 3 then go to another job from 5-9 and on weekends I'm playing catch up on home life and sometimes I have to work all weekend. I hope he has a chance to do it :)
