Reducing Mirtazapine

Afternoon,

I reduced two weeks ago from taking 45mg for a number of years to 30mg (at night). I’m normally pretty hardy with tablets as I am on lot for PTSD however I’m still feeling sick and a bit clumsy. I’ve also got nausea when I wake up and feeling sick all day.

It’s affecting my ability to eat - I’m a keen Powerlifter but I’ve even had diareoah today.

I was wondering if anyone has reduced from 45 to 30 and in their experience how long the ‘sickness’ lasts?

I don’t feel sorry for myself at all however I’ve got a lot going on and one of my best friends is waiting on his deathbed to die. I don’t know if this is causing some of my symptoms.

Thanks all x

Mirtazapine is known to be a potentially difficult drug to withdraw from maybe you should go back onto 45mg and after a week make a smaller step in your reduction?
