Hello All!

I recently had a job interview on May 5th, graduated college on May 8th, and was just awaiting my scores to be able to apply for my teaching license. Two weeks ago on May 13th, I felt like all I had worked so hard for fell apart in an instant when I found out that I had not passed my EdTPA. This was the only thing standing in the way of my licensure. Yes I graduated with a degree, but technically right now I’m not licensed to teach on certified terms. So the last two weeks have been rough with me wondering if I will be getting a job for the fall, but I got an email tonight asking me to go to the board office in the morning! It sounds as though it will be a Special Education position that is opening up, and this will be a perfect job for me! I hope I get it! And I really hope it is at one of the schools closest to me, but I would be happy just to be in the county that I grew up in. I feel like everything is going to be okay now. I’m looking forwards to whatever is next.

I had a Facebook memory today that said:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience Gods peace which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.

Seems accurate to find this in my memories today. I had been worried about not getting a job for the fall, but I chose not to panic and just enjoy my time off. God knows our needs💗
