I have no one to open up to. No friends not close enough to talk about very personal things. Why can’t I be like those people who can keep everything bottles up. Or why can’t I have better help. Haven’t seen a therapist since last year due to Covid.

Why do I feel the need to talk it out?
Emotional healing is a social process. I think that’s why you feel the need to talk it out.
People who keep everything bottled up are ticking time bombs. I was one of those people. Becoming a mom triggered the bomb that had started forming inside of me when I was a toddler.
I started seeing a therapist online during COVID. Maybe you could try that?
Rafiki11 is right: humans are social creatures. And online therapy is a workable venue for therapy.
That what this group is for me, I'm able to open up and it helps a lot. U guys know and understand. Where family and friends don't.
What do you mean by bottled up? Do you not share things with anyone and feel bottled up or do you constantly talk about your problems and think about them?
Thoughts can't be trusted and I found that CBT helped when I understood it. Pleasant thoughts improve feelings, and that should prove true for words as well. But talk to a therapist about what works for you.
We are all different and we all need friends, not just as a sounding board but to distract from negative thoughts and develop a relationship that is good for both of you. The best therapist I had let me write out a long paper about my problems and how they began. Then we discussed them only once and used CBT to change my thoughts about them. Mindfulness is a valuable new therapy as well.
