I would think decaf coffee or tea would be a good option. Keep in mind that some sodas and other things also have caffeine.

I find Chamomile tea very good 👍

Been told not to take camomile tea with Diazepam as it greatly increases the sedative effect.

Hi fatchap - I had no idea that this happens, nobody’s ever said that to me - but then I don’t often have hot drinks anyhow, usually stick to water.

Really, Never heard that, did the Dr tell you ?

I take it to sleep so it doesn’t really matter too much

You take it with Diazepam? Dr Google does not recommend it.

Chamomile tea is natural and very very mild , I don’t think one cup a day will harm , but if you’d rather not then how about a milky drink?

Hi fatchap, I do enjoy my Decaf coffee each day which is topped off with a flavored cream.

As b1 stated, "keep in mind that some sodas and other things also have caffeine".

I do not drink Chamomile Tea myself because I'm on Warfarin and the tea can thin the blood.

Decaf has less caffeine but is not caffeine-free. It’s better than the full-caff if you’re wanting to be calmer but still want a coffee / tea.

This is new to me but indeed if you Google the subject there are claims that caffeine undermines the effectiveness of diazepam.

Strange that this fact does not appear on the information leaflet that accompanies prescriptions of diazepam in the U.K. Don't know about the U.S.

As it's the caffeine that causes this loss of effectiveness you would think de-caff coffee should be fine BUT de-caff doesn't mean no caffeine. It still contains some caffeine.

Another drink that is evidently packed with caffeine is Green Tea so that is best avoided too when taking diazepam.
