Hi everyone, I am new to this section but not to health unlocked forum. I came on for advice for my daughter who suffers appallingly with depression, anxiety etc. She's had alsorts of prescriptions over the years. Nothing helps. Now she has been suddenly removed off Pip and her ESA cut. Can you imagine the state she's in now. It's made it a whole lot worse. I cannot even get her to speak. The drs appointment is 2 weeks off. I really hope the DWP is proud of itself. The assessor gave her 100% zero points because she was able to speak well on the phone. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. We will appeal but who knows.
By the way I have very bad costochondritis (rib pain). my Dr put me on dulexetine (cymbalta). After 6 weeks the pain is massively reduced and I've noticed I don't get that sickening adrenaline rush like stressful fight of flight feeling with all my worries. Btw I have never had depression. That's just my thoughts on that if it helps anyone at all.

Sorry to hear all your bad news. Your daughter needs to put in an appeal and you don't have long to do it so it needs doing straightaway. I would advise her to get help from CAB or a local disability centre as they are experts on the PIP system.
Good luck and I hope you are feeling better very soon.
thank you so much. I just downloaded a template from Advicenow website which is very helpful. I'll get the ball rolling and post on here any update. I'll contact CaB Monday too.Best wishes
the social security don`t care read yesterday a woman failed hers due to being asked how regular she changed her pants everything else didn`t matter to them.hopefully you appeal through CAB because they helped me with ESA and was successful.
Thank you for replying. I've just downloaded a template letter from Advicenow website which was very helpful. Will contact CaB on Monday too. I'll post any update too. We shouldn't have to struggle for justice should we, while the fat cats lick their paws.
