Does anyone know if it is normal to be extremely moody and fatigued after missing only one dose of an antidepressant? I feel like this happens every single time I miss one dose but I also feel like every single time it’s been an extra hard few days. I don’t know if this is coincidental or if I’m that easily affected by the medicine.

Yes I've noticed that too and wondered the same thing. I'm confused because they don't ever explain to me enough how the medications actually work. They've explained it to me on a physical level but not a mental level.

Yes it is normal, for me at least. If I miss 1 dose I feel tired and moody. I have had an occasion or two where I missed a dose 2 days in a row. You don't want to do that!! It feels like you've been hit by a truck and anxiety and depression are intensified.

I almost don't want to comment without knowing more and not being your physician. However, from personal experience, I know how awful missing a dose of Paxil has made me feel in the past.

Considering how most drugs (particularly SSRIs) work I wouldn't be surprised.
