Just trying to find support from understanding people.

I'm going through it with my anxiety. I've been on a week vacation and every single day i've had anxiety and panic attacks. I try to relax, take my medication, try to keep busy but this brain of mine just stays in freaked out mode. I just need some support from people who get it, wont judge and offer insight or advice. I have tried my hobbies going for walks/jogs, reading (forget it, with this anxiety I can't even see straight) tried going to the store to distract myself but instead, was moody and didn't even want to say hello to anyone. This feels terrible, and I keep it mostly inside because my loved ones don't know how to help.

Anyone available to talk? Just need some kind words.

Hi. I'm here if I can help. I totally understand how debilitating anxiety and panic attacks can be. I have a lived experience and I'm still living with it everyday.

Hi Moondreaming. It`s funny how the more we try sometimes the less we can feel how we really want to feel. Not sure if there`s anything going on in your life that has you feeling this way. Anxiety/low moods can come about due to all kinds of reasons. You certainly aren`t crazy! Many people are living with anxiety. With you being female you just might have a hormone imbalance going on. A doctor could help you out there if so. You can record on paper how you feel at certain times each month and then if you feel better. May be nothing to do with that but worth looking into if you are feeling bad a lot and don`t know why. There are then of course chemical imbalances in our brain which can cause depression for some. Again a doctor can help there. You said you already take medication so you will have no doubt seen someone. A doctor will have many different types of medications and could offer alternatives if one doesn`t seem to be working. In the main usually with anxiety it`s often our brains whizzing away trying to sort everything out and pretty much trying to `keep us safe`. If you ever feel like your thoughts are moving too fast you can help to slow them down by writing them down onto paper and pretty much letting them go. You could even look at those thoughts and challenge them where they might be negative. There are many things out there to help with anxiety and some great therapists too. You may want to talk about some things which would be a great release and may help you understand yourself more. For help with relaxation there are things like `binaural beats`( see online) where you just listen to some amazing sounds and your brain can become much calmer. Hypnotherapy is also a good one. And there is of course regular exercises which will help slow you down and put you in a better mood. These are just a handful of things you can try. Ensure you have enough nutrition to feed your body and mind. Sometimes we don`t look after our bodies/minds as well as we should. If we look after them they will usually look after us. So enough of those good vitamins and minerals. Always realise too that even though you may feel anxious/depressed you can still do things. Sending you peace and understanding x
