Binge Eating stress and depression

Can someone help me with my binge eating my doctor wanted to put me on a whole30 plan. But I mean I have way to much stress on me already. From my mom sanding, unemployment, step father traveling again, therapy, Easter, and a diet. I have been doing a diabetic diet with my step father. I can do keto due to cardiovascular disease in my family. But I am going to change my diet to fruits in the morning, salad afternoon, and big dinner with little to no carbs due to my step father. I feel bad I am not on the diet but I think it will just make things worse with my stress levels as they are. Like right now I got so pissed and stressed I went and got a choclate muffin cause today is Good Friday and I can’t eat fish. My mom is sanding so I can’t cook or bake. An I am not suppose to have microwaveable meals. I am not eating two salads in one day.

Hi I'm in the UK and not sure what 'sanding' is?

It's admirable you want to support your stepfather but he is diabetic and you are not! You should never cut out whole food groups without the consent of your doctor. You need protein and carbs to stay healthy so trust your doctor.

Surely your stepfather will understand why you need to follow your doctor' instructions? S/he is trying to get you back into a healthy eating pattern so hopefully you can stop binge eating. Any eating disorder can have severe repercussions so you need to take your health seriously.

My doctor put me on this diet but it just makes me want to binge more. An sanding is like rubbing something like steel wool on cabinets so the can make it like new.

I found the following online. It also says it aims to help with emotional issues around food too. This sounds like the reason the doctor wants you to do it.

'The Whole30 is not a diet, a weight-loss plan or quick fix – it’s designed to “change your life,” the founders say, by eliminating cravings, rebalancing hormones, curing digestive issues, improving medical conditions and boosting energy and immune function.'

There are lots of people who are helped by programs like Overeaters anonymous. It’s everywhere, especially now you can join meetings in other countries by Zoom. No requirements; just a desire to stop eating compulsively. It’s fantastic!

Hi I’m very knowledgeable on diet and weight loss. If you’re looking for someone to help you I can help you. I’m not technically qualified to help you with whatever emotional issues you might have that might be contributing to your over eating, but I’m willing to help you. You can message me personally anytime. Cheers
