I am already very dependent on sleeping pills, because without it I always feel anxious and fear always comes, and the worst thoughts are always visible in front of my eyes.

I couldn't sleep because my thoughts either. My mind is always overwhelming me. But, at least I could change a bit that problem at nights. I always play silly cartoons on my DVD player and I put on repeat mode.

I started to do that because when I heard the voices of the movie, I stop thinking all the night.

It is a distraction for my mind. I just listed the movie instead of thinking.

Then eventually I sleep.

I know that maybe is not a good method but it helps me.

Also, I started to drink teas before bed. I like chamomile and lavender tea before bed to relax.

I started doing it since 10 years ago. Even though I heard that keep the tv on at night does not let you rest properly, it is the only way I can stop my mind of thinking so much.

A hot shower a cup of tea an episode of Andy Griffith or something else you like or maybe a paragraph or a few pages to read then fall asleep. Or just give yourself permission to sleep and empty your brain of the toxins while you sleep. Or understand that walls are there for a reason. I don't know whats best for you a. I just care and want to help.

A good movie or some music. How about nothing just the sound of silence.
