Hello and welcome people here are very kind and understanding ❤️😄 I love your username I feel like that is what the world needs most right now . my experience with GAD has been alright and better therapy has helped me a lot 😄 . I still do have anxiety though the one symptom that I hate is being shaky I hate it .
I get increased heart rate, constriction in chest area (pain), a sense of looming death, and irrational fears. Sometimes I get frozen. I have been coping by staying on my bed, praying and sleeping it off. Sometimes I hit on my chest gently. These are not good coping strategies and I am here to learn some useful coping strategies. Sometimes I chant mantras out loud. I managed to resort to breathing exercises for a few times but they only alleviate the anxiety for like 30minutes.
I wake up with every muscle tensed up. It gets better throughout the day sometimes...or it transitions into a feeling of depression and being frozen.
Hi I’ve been suffering for 8 months it’s left me bedbound and housebound I’m in medication and having therapy I’m trying everything but feel like I’m stuck in Groundhog Day breathing exercises help me a little and I use a app call insight timer to try and sleep but I wake up all through the night which isn’t good

It can absolutely destroy all your relationships if it gets out of control from my experience.
