I just started going to therapy again and I gotta admit I started feeling good but then some how I'm still holding onto things from the past that is messing up my current life with the ones I love most!! Things in life will be going good and I find a way to mess them up by getting in a dark funk by replaying things from my past and then thinking of new ways to why it was done! I carry around a lot of negativity that I need to be free from because its going to cause me to lose my mind I'm closed off from the ones that need me most and its gonna cause me to lose any chances I have to heal and get a relationship back with someone very special to me... So I thought about hypnosis has anyone had it done? Or can you suggest something that will definitely help me?

Good morning. Hi. I have tried hypnosis to quit smoking once and it helped a lot. There are so many options for hypnosis that are good. Paul Mckenna writes books and has cds and there are a lot of YouTube meditations. I personally love the ones where you meet your spirit guide. It's called spirit guide meditation, I believe. Hi Destinyweathers x haven't seen you for a while. I use self hypnosis and it has helped me tremendously with anxiety. Some years back, I went to a hypnotherapist for several sessions. The first session was spent with checking if I were going to be a good candidate for hypnosis and I was. The sessions were amazing. You are in control but so into another frame of mind. I am able to turn to YouTube and go into a state of hypnosis with moments.
There are many videos on YouTube that are for overnight listening which may help you in

Yesssss I know how have you been??!!! Ive been doing good but I think my body gets immune to medicines after i take them for a while and so my anxiety and depression meds arent working anymore and & I dont want to start a bunch more so i started therapy to talk about all my issues and I love my therapist but I also made an appointment to see a hypnotherapist but was nervous at the same time... Thank you so much for answering and explaining things you have really put me at ease

It can be a game changer. Was for years. I still refer to the visual anchors when needed. You are in control at all times, The subconscious has most of the answers which is the goal.
Hope you find it beneficial. Doing it with a therapist is easiest as that is the way it is taught. They can help you use it to your benefit as they can guide you along the way.
CBT helps the therapist have an idea of where work needs to be done even though you are ultimately in charge of where your subconscious takes you.
