I am not a doctor, nor is this a medical site, so I would advise you to have your blood pressure checked by a professional.
Having said that SSRI's affect the dopamine and serotonin levels in your body which can have an effect of your blood pressure. Depending on the length of time you have been on the medication and the time you are taking to taper off it, you may be affecting these levels causing your blood pressure to rise and or fall.
Please consult a professional. Your health is the most important thing.
Be Well.
Hi In tapering off too, I’ve come from 150 ven at the start of Jan to 37.5 ven now and my blood pressure is unusually high, but I’m going to see how it goes. I feel crap on 37.5 and I’ve been on it a week but I don’t want to go back up.
I’m just struggling on and I want to come off them.
Good luck
