Hi Kristiie and Welcome. This is your lucky night in picking an amazing safe site.

Caring, supportive and understanding men and women who struggle as well. It's nice

to not feel so alone during these times. In number there is comfort. I'm glad you are here with us. And you are absolutely right in that "it's okay to not feel okay"

Love to you new friend :) xx

Hi Kristie. This is Shnookie. Welcome 🙏 to this safe and supportive group. I’m here 4 U. It’s very brave for U to reach out. Some days I wake up feeling like crap 💩. And on those days, especially on the weekends I don’t do much of everything. I say to myself

tomorrow is another day and it will be better. Hugs 🤗 S

Welcome Kristiie! Yes yes yes....it’s ok to not feel ok.... I need to remind myself of that all the time!

I just joined this site myself and suffer from anxiety too. People tell me to get in a group therapy to meet others that share this mental disorder. I hope you can get some medications like I’ve done to help you. Also, check with your hospital to see if they have a psych ward that has a psychiatrist on staff to help you

Thank you:) I am on meds and have good days. I just feel so alone with these struggles. I too would benefit with a support group. Since covid it seems no one is meeting up. Would love that though. Joining this group is also very nice. I know im not alone. Thank you for your reply:)))

You welcome and please email me anytime

I agree we deal with many struggles in life and hang on by a thread . I like to use personally essential oils . Aromatherapy helps me. Right now I have cherry blossom oil in a necklace that is made specifically for essential oils that I wear snd when I have anxiety I just smell it when I need to. and it helps calm me done. Though I have recently also gotten into the bracelets they now make . Just search aromatherapy bracelets on Google or Amazon. And some of my favorite essential oils that help are lemon grass or orange types . They have so many kinds , you nhave to figure out what kind of scent you like. If your into essential oils for anxiety or other things. Just my thoughts on this matter . Hope it helps!

Hi Kristie,

I am totally empathetic of what your going through as I am almost in similar situation and age. I am 56 with no children and have been struggling with my own mental depression and other things. Our team at work was laid off a week before Thanksgiving last year and it was a blow and have not found work as of yet but thats ok. The struggles of daily depression and anxiety are always there but a lot of days are better than others and I try to be disciplined about taking my medication, eating healthier, trying to exercise (lol), and watching positive shows and it helps. I also struggle with loneliness since the pandemic and most of family does not talk to each other and its been hard. I feel like I am going through the same thing in the movie Ground Hogs Day, but i try to find some joy everyday, even if it is going to breakfast, walk in the park, but i have been more assertive lately, like kayaking, working out, swimming and it seems to help. The key for me everyday is to find a little joy that will stimulate a positive and natural positive experience that is non- alcoholic or substance abuse feeling, that will make you a little happier. I hope this little piece of information helps, and if you need to talk more about it, just message me. Have a blessed day.
