Instead of making New Years resolutions, why don’t we make a gratitude list?

What are your 5 things you are most grateful for?

I dislike the whole “new year, new me” saying, as it implies we were not good enough before. You are good enough, we all are good enough. I think it’s great to improve ourselves and be the best we can but don’t change yourself too much. You are unique and valuable in this world. So instead of thinking what we don’t have, think about what you do have.

I admire your perspective! I’m grateful that I stumbled across this site in 2020. It provided me with people I can speak with about mental and emotional well-being. This isn’t something that people I know is interested in discussing. I agree. We are all unique and special. Each of us is enough and will continue to be enough for the rest our lives.

I love what you said. We are good enough and stronger than we know. I don't make resolutions. Instead I try to be a kinder, better person. Five things I am grateful for are really quite ordinary. They are my family and friends, my home, my pets, having food in the house and the strength I eventually find when I need it the most. HUGS and BLESSINGS!

Grateful for every day I wake up, my boyfriend of 26 years, the times that my anxiety is relieved, everybody who cares and every thing else that is good in my life. So much .....❤️🏄‍♀️

Thank you for this post:

I am grateful for my mum and dad still being here.

My hope for the future getting better.

Knowing people like you care

My relatively good health

Having a safe place to live and sleep.

Thank you for encouraging me to think of the positive. I suppose there are much more things to be thankful for. But these are from the top of my head. 🙂🦋🐶
