how was everyone's day today?

i am soo tired! it's been a long day for me, but hey, i'm here now i guess. would love to hear your responses about what you accomplished today, as dr. kevin christie says, "what did you do today to earn your place in this crowded world?" about tonight's poem that you are about to read: it is the first poem I've written outside of school (12 days ago) and the inspiration came to me when looking at the hanging butterflies i made and hung from my ceiling. somehow it turned into angels, i don't really know lol.

the fallen angel

the male and female

what beauty!

the sight of intertwining wings

and the feeling

oh, the feeling!

the feeling of love

how delicate these wings are

at any moment could be clipped

from a torn and tattered state

a life may end.

flight, a thing of the past

as i plummet through the sky

and as i embrace the stony ground

it doesn't feel much different

from my days in the clouds

feathers cut

one by one

gone
