I’m currently quite far from home for the weekend and I’m actually quite ill it’s not covid because I had a test and it came back negative but cause I have extreme anxiety and panic where ever I am ovbs being far away from home it’s worse but being ill on top of it it’s making me feel abit worse I currently feel like inbetween calm and completely freaking out cause if I want to get home It would take a long time! How can I keep calm through the whole weekend?

Hi there. What has worked for you in the past? Could you try some breathing exercises? I'm sorry you're sick and hope you feel better soon. I'm really glad to hear that it's not covid-19.

I’m not really sure I think it’s just that thought of just impending doom I felt it a couple of times when I woke up from my sleep for a second or two but I refused to let it take over me. I think my mind is trying over analyse the fact I’m somewhere other than home and that Something bad will happen to me before I make it back home. Maybe i could try some yoga? Or grounding techniques. I guess just even writing it down on here makes me feel better.

Hi again. That myst be tough, but I'm glad that writing it out helped!! Yes, our minds are very good at over-analyzing. When given the chance, our minds go haywire. Yoga sounds like a great idea!
